Women.
Bearers of water, soft and strong.
All life passes through a woman,
and water is a necessity for all life.
The quiet depth of the ocean remains,
even when the surface toils.

It is the quality of our water,
that inevitably affects all. 🌊

So grateful to have shared my keynote,
“Confidence as a Skill” this past week at @uscedu .

Amid the sweet chaos of my international fashion bookings, this one took an extra stretch.
It really showed me how much I can do when I put my mind to it, even when the tank feels empty (aka no sleep- 2/10 do not recommend 😅).

To see the power sparked in the eyes of young women and men with renewed belief in themselves, and reframed minds based on the concrete steps I share to increase their confidence in both career and personal spaces…. Nothing compares.

These heels, are filled by the soles of those who’ve come before me.

My heart is full. Thank you. 🤎

Life is a river.
Running, rocky, fertile, adventurous, challenging and nurturing all at once. A mouth overflowing with murmurs of life, a sacred lullaby for all resting in the riverbed to hear.

Sometimes we panic because we can’t see around the bend, and can’t predict what’s to come.
We want to control the speed of the current, when our duty is navigation.

There is a flow to be followed- the same as the red water in our veins. We know where to go when we are calm enough, still enough, to listen to the quiet pulse of life.
Thinking we are separate is like digging through the water… It will always run together again, just as the crimson we bleed.

The connection peace requires is strengthened through trusting the process, and knowing she will carry us back to the ocean with the passage of time.

Just keep swimming, and the way becomes clear. 🌊

I adore brands who put people and the planet first, providing organic alternatives so we can keep our natural beauty and vibrance through life.

Last slides- we found the janitor’s supplies and made it fashion 💃🏾 Clean it up.
